Learning To Remember

An attachment from me to you
Sent from the globe
Tied to a traveler because we have not yet seen the future

So slow and so weighted but so fast on its way
Reorganizing the constants
While we keep our piece sedated

To see what might pass through
As a reminder to wonder
From questioning what could be taken apart

Which when viewed from the room
Is not so spooky after all

An rebuttal from me to you
Sent from the very same room
Though I am now facing a very different wall.
So near to a year from the day in your future:

Hey guy,
You were right!
All of your colors have changed though.
The wall again, and the mirrored faces.
I am afraid you no longer exist.
If only you knew what you had written.

If only you knew…
